The challenge
For many Gen Z and Millennials, Alexa is Useful for telling them if it was going to rain and maybe when their package would arrive. Sure, it could do way more, but they weren’t going to watch another how-to video or sit through technical talk to find out. We had to meet them in new way, one that invited them in.

Alexa at the Improv
In a series of 12 short social videos, we introduced our audience to “Amanda,” a high-energy, all-smiles improv performer with a passion for what her Alexa devices can do. Each episode featured Amanda creating a new persona and then using it to demo a specific Alexa capability—as only Amanda can. Offbeat and a little irreverent, our videos gave the audience a reason to engage with the content and new ways of using their devices.
